Success Stories

Good morning Bill:

I wanted to let you know in writing that I will begin a new career with Bank of America on June 2, 2010 - Thanks to the Cornerstone Career Ministry! I am so grateful that God's will is being done through this ministry.

If it is possible, I would like to continue receiving the job leads and ministry event updates for future reference. I will be working late on Tuesday now, however I will continue to lift up in pray the leaders and volunteers of this ministry.

God Bless You,
Melody

Hi CCM Friends,

I want to share a little good news. I have accepted a Programmer Analyst position in Kennesaw.

Finding the position was a true networking success story and a blessing from God. I would not have found or got this job if I had not attended the April 20th CCM meeting and talked with a friend that graduated college with me. After hearing about my work experience, he referred me to his brother in law whose company had an open position. This led to me getting a position that seems to be an excellent fit for me.

I really appreciate all the support I have received from everyone at CCM. I look forward to continuing to serve the ministry and help other people in career transitions.

God Bless,
Kevin

Bill,

I pursued and accepted the position at Candito Construction. Thank you for CCM's hard work and networking support to provide leads and valuable knowledge to improve my search initiatives. I would like to give back as soon as I am settled in my new job and my batteries are re-charged. Let me know some ways I can help.

Yvonne

After 3 months of unemployment,I have started a new job in Detroit. I had to travel to get a very good job. It is a GOD thing that I was able to get this assignment. Thanks for all your help. This job was made possible through personal networking. A casual conversation in the parking lot at WFBC led to my assignment. Pray that this short term assignment will blossom into a series of longer term assignments.

May the LORD bless you and keep you in his WATCHFUL CARE.

Thanks,
Roger

Hey Daniel,

Just checking in with some great news. I started my new job as Regional Sales Director two weeks ago. Thank God! And thank everyone at Cornerstone Career Ministry for all your support. I don't know how I would have made it through what turned out to be one of the toughest times in my life, without support from wonderful people like you. You are a blessing and as Christ said - the salt of the earth and a light in the world.

Thank you.
Bill

Hi Bill,

I accepted a position today with a construction company that remodels apartments all over the US . I gave a good friend in our sailing club my resume and he forwarded it onto his CPA who knew this gentlemen and knew he was looking for someone. This is a true networking story.

Meeting you was one of the greatest things that happened to me during my hunt. I need to tell you that my story is not a long one. I was laid off Aug. 17. You kept me focused on God and it was because of that focus and faith that you talked about that I was able to stay calm and know that he would put me where he knew I need to be. I was so calm and did what you said to do and prayed all the time for God to put me where I should be. Thank you for reinforcing what I knew but sometimes we just need to be told again when we are scared and feel so out of control. How silly of me God Is In Control.

I would like to see where I can be of some help now during the networking groups. If you need help or if there is someone I can contact please let know. I want to give back.

Thank you again.
Candice

Good News!

Bill/Daniel,

I just wanted to let you know that I received and accepted a job offer yesterday for a Controller position here in Atlanta!

You were a tremendous help in my job search by offering support and valuable job search advice and I will be more than happy to pay it forward. I have a list of names of people I met at the FBCW Cornerstone meetings who are looking for jobs and will continue to pray for them as well as forward any job leads I come across. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help and I will be more than happy to.

Thanks again and God bless!
John
